A small blue and white dish, Chenghua 6-character mark.
Japan, Arita, Edo period, c. 1780-1820.

With scalloped ribbed rim, decorated in underglaze blue with two European Nanban (Southern Barbarians or westerners) figures holding clay pipes, standing next to a table with vase in front of a European roofed house with flags. Chenghua 6-character mark.

Dimensions:
Diameter 15.5 cm, height 2.2 cm.

Condition:
Perfect condition, no damages.
