A Chinese porcelain blue and white hot water jug.
Kangxi period (1661-1722).
The pear shaped jug with bulbous body, decorated all around in underglaze cobalt blue with birds and flowering branches, tassels, ruyi heads and medallions. An elongated flowering branch climbing up the large curved handle and the bottom unmarked with a double circle.

Dimensions:
Height 17 cm, width with handle ca 14 cm, diameter body 10 cm.
Condition:
Some fritting and chips to the rim and a glaze flake to the beginning of the handle – furthermore in good condition without hairlines, breaks or other damages.
