A Chinese archaistic bronze flower vase.
12th – 14th century, Song/Yuan dynasty.

The crisply cast vase of rectangular form rising from a tall tapering foot to outward curving body and narrow waisted neck flanked by a pair of taotie-mask handles issuing loops. The middle part of the body with a relief decoration of taotie against a repeating leiwen background.

Dimensions:
Height 18.5 cm, width 8.5 cm, depth 8 cm.
