A Chinese parcel-gilt bronze vase.
Yuan (1271-1368) to Ming dynasty (1368-1644).
The pear-shaped body rising from a stepped foot to a waisted neck and stepped mouth rim, twin loop handles surmounted by dragon heads issuing from either side. The body with parcel-gilt decoration of mountains, the neck with moons and clouds above, the mouth rim with parcel-gilt finish. The body has a warm, brownish patina.
