An Yixing stoneware teapot.
Kangxi period, c. 1675-1725.

The body of flattened shape in the form of a lotus flower with molded cartouche panels decorated with deer, butterflies and flowers.

Dimensions:
Width with handle and spout 14.5 cm, diameter body 10.5 cm, height with lid 5 cm.

A teapot of similar shape with different decoration is in the Zwinger Dresden collection, Inv. No. PO3891.

Condition:
Some fritting to the knob of the lid and a minor frit to the spout.
